Acres Consultancy – founded by former Omega director and KBSA retail corporate chairman Simon Acres, pictured right – has teamed up with online merchant Trading Depot to launch a joint initiative that aims to provide “easily accessible advice and smart solutions” via social media.

The two companies will create a series of films via Trading Depot’s podcast, Inside The House, interviewing young apprentices and key industry leaders. Acres has recently been releasing videos in its ‘Industry Legends’ series with influential players in the KBB industry.

“We want to make our industry attractive to those who wouldn’t have considered it as an option and help companies understand what make a successful business,” said Acres principal director Simon Acres.

Trading Depot MD Darren House, left, added: “We are delighted to be sharing ideas and working with Acres Consultancy on this exciting initiative. Video is a fantastic medium to relay information and stimulate discussion, as they have demonstrated with their successful Industry Legend films.

“We already have a wealth of information on our YouTube channel but are looking forward to supporting the industry and jointly sharing this new material.”
