Bath-based bathroom company Roper Rhodes has welcomed William Steele as its new operations director, where he will be responsible for purchasing, supply chain and warehouse operations, customer services, transport, and health and safety.

Steele has joined the company from Bob Martin (UK) Ltd, where he spent 15 years as operations director. He has a strong background in international supply chain management, and has also previously worked at ExxonMobil and Henkel.

“I am delighted to be joining Roper Rhodes,” Steele said. “The company represents a simple yet rare cocktail, blending strong core values with innovative thinking. Through and across the business the Roper Rhodes team are dedicated and passionate, and full of ideas about how the performance of the operation can be improved even further. I very much look forward to being part of that journey.”

Roper Rhodes managing director Paul Roper added: ““We are delighted to welcome William onto our team. His diverse mix of skills and experience will bring a new dimension to the business at this incredibly exciting period of growth and development. I know he will make a big difference to our operations and am sure that our customers will come to notice our improved service proposition.”
