Glazed titanium steel bath, shower tray and washbasin manufacturer Bette has had the sustainability status of its products confirmed by a new Environmental Product Declaration – EPD.

The EPD is based on the ISO 14025 and EN 15804 standards, and covers the entire life-cycle of Bette’s products as well as their functional and technical qualities.

The company said the EPD “provides quantitative information on the environmental performance of Bette products, and independent verification of their sustainability”.

Bette marketing head Sven Rensinghoff, pictured centre, was presented with the EPD certification by Hans Peters, left, and Dr Alexander Röder, right, of independent assessors IBU.
