The Water Regulatory Advisory Scheme (WRAS), the UK standard against waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply, has granted full approval to all Abode 4IN1 steaming hot water taps, filters and boilers.

The approval, which covers Abode’s Pronteau 4IN1 taps and ProBoil3 boiler, means that these products now comply with the necessary regulations for new build and refurbishment projects.

Before approval was granted, WRAS did not have a system for testing hot water taps, and the endorsement therefore represents a significant shift in contemporary water regulation.

Darren Holliday, Managing Director at Abode, said:

“The WRAS approval for the Pronteau Hot Water tap system is the result of significant amount of hard work by our Technical team at Abode. It comes on the back of a patent and separate approvals for each element of the product including the boiler unit, mixertaps and filter."
