AGA Rangemaster to re-open production facilities
Factories in Leamington Spa, Long Eaton and Telford will resume operation from 1st June

British appliance and sink manufacturer AGA Rangemaster has announced plans to re-open its manufacturing facilities in Leamington Spa, Long Eaton and Telford.
As of Monday 1st June, three factories will resume operation under special measures to protect the health and wellbeing of the company’s employees, customers and suppliers.
In addition to following the Government’s guidance on social distancing, forehead thermometers have been installed for temperature checks before entry to the facilities, visual reminders and signage is on display at the entrances to the sites to actively encourage people to wash hands regularly. Working hours and break times will also be staggered.
The process of resuming production on a small scale at the sites has begun and AGA Rangemaster continues to monitor the advice from the Government.
The company has remained open for business and continued to fulfil orders throughout the current COVID-19 lockdown period. However, 'June 1st will be a major step forward and allow the business to start returning to a sense of normality', the company said in a statement.
