Before the government introduced tighter restrictions on movement and social distancing, employees at Coram’s head office HQ in Ilton, Somerset gathered the remaining stock of toilet rolls and donated them to a small village shop, Broadwindsor Community Stores.

Broadwindsor Community Stores are offering a delivery service within the Parish area to any customers who are self-isolating or vulnerable, and Rachel Davies, credit controller from Coram UK, said that they were glad to support the initiative. ‘We were incredibly happy to offer some small help to the local community,’ she explained, ‘safe in the knowledge they would be safely distributed to vulnerable people by a team of dedicated volunteers.’

Elsewhere, business development manager Peter Mara and the team from Coram Showers donated emergency supplies to paramedics from the East Midlands Ambulance Service.
