Ideal Bathrooms to resume trading
The company has introduced measures to adhere to the government’s social distancing guidelines

Leading UK bathroom distributor Ideal Bathrooms has announced that it will resume trading on Monday 4th May.
As part of its return, the company has introduced measures to adhere to the government’s social distancing guidelines, including limiting of the workforce on site, the creation of designated one-way routes in all warehouses and offices, the introduction of sanitiser stations and provision of PPE where necessary.

The distributor will be running a reduced delivery service from its four depots, which will resume on Tuesday May 5th, to enable the team to adhere to strict safety guidelines.
Danielle Lillis, Ideal Bathrooms’ Commercial Director, said: ‘Since hitting pause on March 27th we have been closely monitoring the ever-changing situation and following government advice we have been able to make an informed decision as to when it was right for Ideal Bathrooms to begin trading again.
‘Our sector plays a vital role in stimulating the economy and we recognise that many merchants and retailers are now increasing their activity levels and so we are pleased to once again open our doors and support our customers.
‘Ideal Bathrooms’ number one priority remains the safety, wellbeing and health of our employees, customers and suppliers, therefore while we have decided to reopen, this will be carried out in phases to protect our workforce.
