ISH, the world leading trade fair on responsible water and energy management, has extended the deadline by which brands can cancel their exhibition stands for free.
In a recent statement, ISH management said that they recognised ‘the challenge’ that their proposed safety requirements would present for prospective exhibitors, and extended their cancellation deadline from the 24 July to 10 September 2020.
ISH’s announcement follows GROHE’s most recent announcement that it was to withdraw from the event due to hygiene concerns. GROHE representatives stated:
Wolfgang Marzin, President and Chief Executive Officer of Messe Frankfurt, ISH event organiser, stated that although there will be restrictions, this will not affect the topicality of the themes and products at the fair, and this is confirmed by the number of registrations being received every day by Messe Frankfurt. ‘We are confident that life will return gradually to normal over the coming months and are therefore acting in accordance with the assessment of our patronage partners that, given the anticipated positive scenario, it should be possible to relax the protection and hygiene regulations applying to ISH 2021′ said Marzin.
‘Additionally, recent surveys show that the majority of trade visitors expect ISH 2021 to be a sign that things are on the way up again after the crisis’ he concluded.
