RAK Ceramics has announced that its warehouse and delivery system and is now fully operational, so that customer orders can be fulfilled.
The manufacturer is making its full range of products available on as short a turnaround as possible, while adhering to strict social distancing guidelines to protect staff and customers and help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
‘It is crucial that we put appropriate social distancing measures in place before we were able to resume operations on anywhere near a normal level and our staff have worked tirelessly over the last few weeks, under difficult circumstances, to make this happen. While our normal 24-hour delivery service is not possible at the moment, we are able to offer a 48-hour extended service. Social distancing measures have been implemented in our warehouse, with shift pattern changes put in place to help keep everyone safe and our operations as close to normal as possible,’ said Alvin Biggs, Managing Director/ Vice President Europe.
‘We have also made changes to our delivery protocols, with our drivers following strict social distancing guidelines too. Finally, our sales and accounts teams are continuing to work from home and are fully contactable by email.
