Victorian Plumbing, the online bathroom retailer, has reported its financial results for 2019, with a record revenue of £151m and profit of £10.1m.
According to the company, revenue has grown by 28% since 2018 (£118m), whilst profit has also risen by 188.6% in the last year. This positions Victorian Plumbing as the largest bathroom retailer in the UK, and representatives have deemed this a ‘significant achievement in what has been a difficult year for the bathroom industry, amidst buyouts and administrations encountered by the business’ competitors.’

The company cited ‘brand awareness’ one of the chief reasons for its success, whilst also noting ‘return custom from trade partners’ as an important factor in the year’s high earnings. It credited its new ATL campaign – featuring Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen – and suggested investment in staff and technologies played a part in producing record figures.
