VitrA publishes third Design Update with a focus on sustainable water consumption
The issue explores the debate on modern day water consumption

VitrA has published its third Design Update magazine, which this time focuses on water.
The issue, which explores the debate on modern day water consumption, water consciousness and how the consumer relationship with water is changing, features a foreword from Margaret Talbot, Marketing Manager for VitrA UK, and the views from bathroom specialists, architects and designers on past, present and future perspectives on water.

The issue also features a discussion with Jane Withers, design consultant, curator, writer and founder of Jane Withers Studio, on how we perceive water as an “unwelcome guest.”
Other features include a Q&A which answers how we should shift attitudes to perceive water with an ecological view, and a piece on how water sustainable practices are emerging in new structural design. John Jervis also presents a study into the origins of the modern bathroom and how it will continue to be influenced by historic bathroom customs.
