Arçelik awarded CIPS Corporate Certification
Beko’s parent company gains accreditation for purchasing management standards

Beko’s parent company Arçelik A.Ş. has received Corporate Certification from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply – CIPS.
The certification, awarded to approximately 130 companies in the world for demonstrating excellence in purchasing management, ‘assesses an organisation’s procurement and supply operations against globally and internationally respected standards’, according to CIPS.

After being presented with the certification at a ceremony held in May, Arçelik assistant general manager Oğuzhan Öztürk said the company’s purchasing processes were ‘among the best application examples of the world’ and that ‘its achievements will continue in every field with the CIPS certification’.
The appliance manufacturer said its purchasing processes were reviewed under five main groups and 110 criteria, including leadership and organisation, strategy, people, process and systems, performance measurement and management.
