BSH collaborates with Fitbit

BSH, the manufacturer of Bosch, NEFF, Siemens and Gaggenau home appliances, has announced its collaboration with popular global wearables brand Fitbit.

The partnership, which adds to BSH’s existing collaborations with third party apps such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home and IFTTT (If This Then That), will see the manufacturer’s Home Connect app service become available via Fitbit smartwatches.

As a result of the collaboration, users will be able to monitor and control their wi-fi enabled home appliance via smartwatch, carrying out tasks such as starting their coffee machines, washing machines, dryers and dishwashers by using the watch.
