BSH, manufacturer of Bosch, NEFF, Siemens and Gaggenau home appliances, has been recognised as a Top Employer for the fifth consecutive year. The accolade, which was awarded by the Top Employers Institute, is based on a rigorous analysis of human resources management and employee conditions, and sees BSH become the first company in its industry to hold the title for five years.
The Top Employer for 2020 certification recognises employers that have dedicated themselves to providing the very best working environment for employees through progressive ‘people-first’ HR practices.

Each company awarded Top Employer status completes a Best Practice Survey that encompasses over 100 questions on topics including learning and development, career and succession management, and talent strategy and acquisition. The Top Employers Institute then evaluates the implementation of these practices and reviews how they are supported through strategy, ownership, practices, management and technology.
Ting Mensing, CFO, BSH Home Appliances Ltd, said: “We are delighted to be one of a select number of UK organisations to be rated as a Top Employer, and to be recognised for the fifth year running is a fantastic achievement. In 2016 we were the first company in our industry in the UK to hold this certificate, and we’re now the first to hold the title for five consecutive years.
“The development of employees is a key focus for us at BSH and to have this work recognised by the Top Employers Institute is testament to the hard work of everyone at BSH.”
