The CPDs will be on Solid Surface: Colour, Texture & Trends and Solid Surface: Architectural Form & Structure

CDUK CPD Interior Trends

CDUK, the exclusive distributor of Corian Solid Surface in the UK and Ireland, is now offering two new Royal Institute of British Architects certified CPDs in response to evolving industry demand.

The new seminars, Solid Surface: Colour, Texture & Trends and Solid Surface: Architectural Form & Structure, offer up to date training regarding the latest developments in the material, and have also been tailored to address the particular needs of specific audiences within the architecture and interior design communities.

Both seminars will highlight the differences between the various composites of solid surface, whilst also delivering technical information on the manufacture, specification and supply of the original brand, together with confirmation of its key regulatory certification. Solid Surface: Colour, Texture & Trends will take a close look at decorative trends and techniques from 3D texturing to translucency, and analyse current aesthetic themes from ‘industrial’ to ‘botanical.’ The seminar includes details on the added-value of the latest sinks, basins and wash-troughs plus innovations such as integrated wireless charging. Solid Surface: Architectural Form & Structure, on the other hand, will include a series of illustrated case studies, plus technical guidance on the installation of exterior facades or interior cladding, together with fabrication considerations from thermoforming to seamless joining and damage repair.

Andy Noble, Sales Director of CDUK said: “Corian is continually evolving, as are the design industry and market demands, hence we have developed two new fully accredited, multi-media CPD seminars to inform and inspire when it comes to material characteristics and capabilities, plus new techniques for solving design challenges and an overview of the key aesthetic trends.”
