Hansgrohe takes home Iconic award for Axor MyEdition

The tap collection was created to mark the 25th anniversary of the Axor brand

The Hansgrohe Group has received the ‘Best of Best’ Iconic award for 2019 for its Axor brand’s MyEdition tap collection, which was created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Axor brand.

Developed in collaboration with Phoenix Design, the tap features PowderRain spray – a first for a sink tap, the company said. The collection comprises nine products for the sink, bidet and bathtub.

“With its clear, rectangular design, the elegant faucet is a harmonious addition to many bathroom environments,” the jury said. “The plate comes in a variety of materials, offering a wonderful, refreshingly innovative option for adding a personal touch to the bathroom.”

Hansgrohe product management vice president Jan Heisterhagen added: “Axor MyEdition is the result of a successful interplay between our unrivalled expertise in water and product design, and decades of experience in bathroom design.

“With the Iconic Award 2019 – Best of Best, the jury has validated our capacity for innovation and acknowledged our design process,” Heisterhagen added.
