Ideal Standard partner with Baum Group to design Courtyard by Marriott Hotel
The bathrooms are inspired by nature with high footfall in mind

The high-quality bathroom manufacturers Ideal Standard have partnered with the Baum Group to create bathrooms for the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Wolfsburg, Germany.
The bathrooms feature a floor-to-ceiling glass panels between each bathroom and living area, inspired by the nature in the Allerpack region. The design aims to integrate natural light with an immersive view of the surrounding landscape.

Each bathroom created for the Baum Group hotel, which has a high footfall, considers the environmental impact and total cost of ownership. The bathrooms include environmental solutions such as; water saving technology, and feature purist Strada sinks of rectangular shape and slim edges, plus Tesi fittings.
Interior designer to the hotel, Christian Stötzer, said: “Our task was to find a design that was timeless and the challenge here was to bring this design into all of the rooms. When we first came here, we saw the lake and the outdoor space and it was clear that we wanted to draw this into the interior design.”
While hotel manager, Christoph Neumann, added: "As a franchisee we’ve been able to develop our own hotel and interior design concept that embraces the surrounding natural world and the park landscape. With its four stories, the building doesn’t tower over the trees in the park. Its wood composite facade allows the building to seamlessly blend into the environment.”
