LIXIL Group Corporation, maker of water and housing products, is set to relocate its global headquarter functions from the Kasumigaseki Building (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) to its LIXIL WING campus (Koto-ku, Tokyo) on November 11, 2019.
With approximately 75,000 colleagues in more than 150 countries, the LIXIL Group has suggested it is consolidating its global headquarters operations into one location in order to achieve faster decision-making.
The new HOSHI building, custom-designed and built from the ground up, will join the existing KAZE, HIKARI, and NIJI buildings within LIXIL’s WING campus. The grand opening for the new headquarters is scheduled for Spring 2020.
LIXIL Group CEO, Kinya Seto, said, “At LIXIL, we believe that the dynamic energy of diversity is an engine for growth and innovation. We are committed to building an inclusive culture where all employees can be themselves, be heard, reach their full potential for improved productivity, and accelerate communications across the organization. By creating solutions generated from different perspectives to help improve people’s comfort and lifestyles, our new headquarters will embody our purpose of making better homes a reality for everyone, everywhere. “
