Wetherby-based kitchen, bedroom and bathoom furniture manufacturer Moores has won the prestigious Order of Distinction Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

The company was announced as the winner of the Order of Distinction sector at an exclusive ceremony that was held on Thursday 6th June at the Hilton Birmingahm Metropole Hotel. It is Moores' 18 consecutive award from RoSPA.
Through the RoSPA Awards scheme – which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas – judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Moores CEO Steve Parkin said: “This is a fantastic achievement and I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone for their contribution in achieving this award and for your continued support in making Moores a safe place to work. Winning the Order of Distinction Award is a significant milestone in our Health and Safety Journey and one that we are extremely proud to have achieved.”
