Celebrating its centenary this year, UK stainless steel manufacturer Pland Stainless has marked 100 years of service from three members of its staff, namely Martin Gill, pictured left above; David Spencer, centre; and James Annan, right.

Gill has worked at the company for 34 years, while Spencer has been with Pland Stainless for 36 years and Annan 31 years.
“Over one hundred years’ service from just three members of staff is a particularly rare achievement and one to be celebrated in such a skilled working environment where experience is truly valued,” the company said.
To mark its centenary, Pland Stainless is holding a series of events across the year. In January, Lord Mayor of Leeds, councillor Graham Latty visited the company’s Leeds facilities, followed by a visit from HRH Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex to its engineering facility in March.
