PWS, one of the UK’s leading distributors, has launched a virtual showroom platform in order to support customers who may not be able to travel due to the current pandemic

With a huge shift towards digital activities since physical showrooms closed three months ago, the distributor wanted to offer its customers access to the design centre anywhere, any time and any place – with no appointment needed.

With a host of features including full set breakdowns, direct links back to individual product pages and technical documentation, the new platform aims to allow PWS to keep leads proactive in the absence of appointments. The platform also includes a measurement tool, which gives customers the opportunity to take measurements of specific products virtually.

Graeme Smith, head of design at PWS, said: ‘Our Design Centres are much loved and heavily used by our customers, they rely on the facilities to help generate sales. Nothing will ever replace visiting in person, but with the added option of a virtual tour our customers now have unlimited access at any time, from anywhere to guide a consumer round and aid them in the sales process.’
