Rotpunkt celebrate 90 years in business
The German kitchen brand began as a manufacturer of cigar boxes

Rotpunkt, the German Kitchen manufacturer and designer, is celebrating 90 years in business this month.
Founded in 1930 by Heinrich Rabe and Wilhem Meyer, the brand began under the name of Rabe & Meyer in Bünde, East Westphalia, where it manufactured cigar boxes and, later sewing boxes and wooden toys.

During the post-war era, it moved into kitchen furniture and established itself as an international brand. Today, its focus in on sustainable kitchen furniture.
