Kitchen Theory was established in 2013 with a focus on providing creative dining experiences for clients and consumers. The company specialises in fine-dining Chef’s Tables and multi-sensory food experiences. However, when it was forced to halt its business operations, Kitchen Theory was determined to contribute towards the community and switched its focus with support from Siemens.

Since March, Kitchen Theory has been producing and delivering nourishing soups on a daily basis, and donating them to Barnet General Hospital for NHS frontline staff.

The #soupswithlove project is also committed to sending weekly soup donations to AgeUKBarnet. The charity is supporting a number of elderly people, who are either unable to cook for themselves or to eat solid foods.

Kitchen Theory Chef, Patron and Founder Jozef Youssef explains: ‘We are doing this as we consider food and nutrition to be a fundamental part of wellbeing. And as people who are healthy and can cook, this is our way of rising to the current challenge. So far, our team have produced 400 soups per week; now with the support of Siemens we will be able to significantly scale this up to reach even more people.’
