Simon Acres Group abandoning plastic at kbb and donating £5000 to wellness charities
The donation will be allocated across three different charities – Samaritans, Mind and Children’s Mental Health

The Simon Acres Group is donating £5000 to wellness charities this year, using the money it would have spent on plastic marketing merchandise at its kbb Birmingham stand. The donation will be allocated across three different charities – Samaritans, Mind and Children’s Mental Health – based on the preferences of visitors who visit the stand.

The move follows a recent KBB forum on ‘Wellness in the Workplace’, which raised awareness about how many people are impacted by mental health issues and the impact this can have on business.
Simon Acres Group principal director Simon Acres said: “We were so moved by the support from our guests at the forum that we wanted to continue the conversation about this taboo topic. We hope that visitors to our stand will support us and help us make a difference, one that could ultimately lead to saving lives.”
