Smeg unveils upgraded training facility at UK HQ

The company is offering a bespoke training course for independent retailers

Smeg has opened the doors of its newly upgraded training facility, located across the entire ground floor of the company’s purpose-built UK head office in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, with more than 300 appliances “live and operational”.

The appliance brand said the space will be used to conduct “inspiring” training for its specialist new products such as SmegConnect and Vitality System, which includes professional appliances such as blast chillers, steam ovens and vacuum drawers.

Additional training set to take place at the updated facility includes in-store and bespoke training, team building and cookery events, group and individual quizzes and challenges, and product launch and refresher training.

The space features a ‘living kitchen’ training school and purpose-built 60-person conference space. The brand is offering an ‘Inspire’ bespoke training course for independent retailers to equip sales staff with knowledge to “confidently and effectively sell and up-sell Smeg”.
