TKC has launched a new website with an enhanced ordering facility and improved functionality.
The new site caters for customers purchasing components as well as those buying complete Jigsaw kitchens, and has improved navigation throughout.
Website features include the company’s familiar Trade Index catalogue format, which enables users to search, click on and add products to their basket.
A new feature is the ‘Sticky Cart,’ which ensures that a customer’s basket is always visible across all pages, and allows users to add to quantities rather than reselecting items. This function is ideal for customers who work round a plan as they order.
Neil Taggart, marketing manager at TKC said: ‘We listened to feedback from our components customers about what features they would like to see within the online ordering system and took these on board to meet their needs, and also using this to create something unique for customers of our Jigsaw complete kitchens with a different menu. There is currently no other site for complete kitchens that offers an ordering platform that is as fast and as intuitive to use with features like the Sticky Cart.’
Other notable features include the option to download all product images and videos and the ability for both Jigsaw and components customers to choose from the 23 Paint to Order colours or request a bespoke colour via the colour match service.
‘The new website was in development before the Coronavirus pandemic hit and it’s completion is very timely now for the sort of flexible and home working practices that we currently have and which are obviously going to be more important in the future.’
