As ivory is the traditional gift for a 14th anniversary, the campaign will see TUKC offer showrooms a special deal on all ivory, white or off-white kitchens recycled through TUKC this month, whether they’re ex-showroom or exhibition displays.

The company have suggested the scheme will help showrooms benefit financially solve storage issues, whilst focusing on sustainability.

“Neutral-coloured kitchens will be on-trend in 2020, so showrooms have ample opportunity to find a buyer for their white and shades-of-white kitchens,” said Looeeze Grossman, CEO of The Used Kitchen Company.

“We have hungry homeowners just waiting for the right kitchen to arrive on our website, so urge showrooms to get in touch and let us boost the number of kitchens recycled in 2020. None of us can ignore the benefits of the circular economy. Showrooms need to think long and hard about their environmental impacts and the waste that a scrapped kitchen creates.”

If showrooms are looking for extra incentive to work with TUKC to sell their displays, they should focus on joining forces with us, as we promote a more sustainable culture within the kitchen sector.”
