Villeroy & Boch strikes national distribution deal with Abacus
The partnership will start from 1st August and follows Ideal Bathrooms leaving the brand in the coming weeks

Ceramic products manufacturer Villeroy & Boch has appointed Abacus as part of a new national distribution partnership.
The appointment, which starts from 1st August, is said to “enable Villeroy & Boch to further enhance its position in the UK, a key market for the leading bath and wellness manufacturer”. The partnership will see Ideal Bathrooms “exit the brand” in the coming weeks after eight years.

Villeroy & Boch director Graham Bailey said: “We believe that working closely with Abacus and linking with their own manufacturing strengths along with the planning and design services they offer will give our complete network new opportunities.
“Abacus already has developed very strong internal processes such as its highly modern and fully automated order processing systems and online dealer portal. Further commitment in the development of new dedicated warehousing and introduction of our products into its ‘onsite’ training and development centre will allow dealers to visit and view our ranges.”
