Whirlpool dishwashers awarded Quiet Mark accreditation
Quiet Mark is an independent awards programme which encourages manufacturers to prioritise noise reduction in appliance design

Whirlpool has today announced that two of its SupremeClean dishwashers – the freestanding model and the fully-integrated model - have been awarded a Quiet Mark accreditation.

Quiet Mark, an independent, international awards programme which encourages manufacturers to prioritise noise reduction in appliance design, is associated with the Noise Abatement Society (NAS), and aims to ensure consumers are left undisturbed by the sound of their appliances.
Research carried out by the body highlighted that 76 per cent of UK consumers desire quieter appliances whilst 62 per cent of those surveyed indicated that noisy household appliances had a negative impact on their home life.
Charmaine Warner, Brand Manager at Whirlpool, said: ‘At Whirlpool, we consistently strive towards developing premium appliances with the latest innovative technologies that meet the needs of the consumer in terms of style and functionality, as well as aspects such as noise output. We are therefore delighted to receive the prestigious Quiet Mark award for the freestanding and fully-integrated Whirlpool SupremeClean dishwashers.’
