GROHE has appointed five new members to its UK projects team, ed by Glen Wilson, Head of Projects in the UK.
The five new recruits will look after existing clients in the UK whilst also generating new business development, and channel their efforts into growing brand awareness across the residential, specification, hospitality and architecture and design sectors.

Wilson, who was appointed to head up the projects team in Summer 2019, led the recruitment process. ‘We have made a significant investment into our team and are delighted with the new additional expertise and experience we now have amongst us’, he explained. ‘This strengthens and expands the projects side of the business and creates the largest team ever in the UK.
'We are very fortunate to already be in a strong position with this sector of the market, with big intentions to grow this further in the coming year. Whilst the current climate brings unprecedented challenges for the industry, we are confident that the specification market will quickly bounce back as the UK economy now begins to reopen. As ever, we continue to work closely with our partners and clients during this uncertain time to provide ongoing support and expertise where needed.’
The five new members of the team are as follows:
Biggs brings more than 10 years of experience in the bathroom industry to his new role as Regional Specification Manager at GROHE. With key, established contacts in the A&D community, Biggs has a wealth of expertise when it comes to generating new business and meeting demand for client’s specification projects.

Dekkers is well-versed in the contracts market following his previous sales role at Utopia Bathroom Group, bringing extensive industry knowledge spanning more than 30 years. He is delighted to be joining the GROHE team and focusing on reaching new heights of profitability in the residential sector.

Matthews also joins the specification team and will be supporting customers in the North of the country. Following a project consultancy role for a hard landscaping manufacturer, Matthews is thrilled to be returning to the bathroom industry, a sector she has already worked in for 5 years previously.

With 18 years’ experience across the kitchen, construction and contact market, Forster is raring to embrace the sanitary and brassware industry with his new role at GROHE. He is hopeful that the experiences he has accumulated throughout his career so far will enable him to bolster growth and market share in the UK specification sector.

Dalal joins GROHE as Projects Office Manager, bringing analytical and managerial experience from her previous roles in the projects sector. Dalal is excited to build her knowledge in the kitchen and bathroom industry and is thrilled at the prospect of working for a global brand.
